FAF deployed teams with a readily accessible and dedicated ability to respond to urgent humanitarian need, resulting from inadequate levels of food security, caused by disrupted indigenous agricultural production capabilities, in certain areas of operation.This was done by embedding an agricultural advisory team, consisting of one expatriate agricultural consultant and one local national extension officer, at selected areas, where inadequate local agricultural production capabilities threaten the food security of surrounding communities.
