FAF was invited to bring integrated project development expertise into the Argentine agricultural sector at a time when such an approach was largely unproven locally and management expertise for this type of agriculture was scarce. Targeting underdeveloped irrigated farmland with strong growth potential, FAF conducted a thorough SWOT analysis and crafted a practical, replicable business plan centered on holistic farm and ranch management combined with advanced technology. Implementing this plan, the company successfully transformed underutilized assets into a profitable enterprise that acquires and develops land while producing and marketing vegetables like onions and sweet corn, as well as seeds for corn, sunflower, and ryegrass. It also raises alfalfa, other forages, and beef cattle. By 2014, the company’s achievements earned it a prestigious national Entrepreneur Award, and its book value had grown 3.7 times since 2011—reflecting a nearly 30% compounded annual growth rate driven by cash flow, infrastructure, equipment, and land appreciation.
