FAF introduced the concept of “quick service restaurants” to a high standard in Chile. Built the McDonald’s brand in the country and led the company to be the undisputed leader in the food retail industry, with over 30% market share, 50% market penetration, and 90% customer satisfaction. We grew the company from zero to twenty-five stores in Santiago, Viña del Mar, Rancagua, and Concepción, with over 1,350 employees. We developed the supply chain for the company including establishment of high quality efficient third party meat & poultry suppliers complying with HACCP. FAF successfully lobbied to lift the ban on fresh vegetables in restaurants. We chaired a televised Anti-Drug Campaign with Chilean First Lady, provided grassroots support to poor schools, cancer patients and flood victims.
