FAF Developments is an international project management and agri-business development company, originating from the United States. Founded in 1982, FAF has operated in Afghanistan 2004 to 2012.
This experience and exposure has enabled FAF to assemble a team of expatriates and Afghan nationals capable of successfully implementing projects in the most challenging rural environments.
FAF operates with a “low profile” approach, which has enabled them to move and work in some of the most inaccessible regions in southern Afghanistan.
FAF personnel have worked with various partners in Afghanistan, including villagers, tribal elders, farmers, traders, contractors, associations, local businesses, Afghan government entities and officials, and multiple other foreign donors and governments. The teams have well-established relationships with various tribal structures and rural communities in Kandahar province and have been invited, by the local tribal leaders to work in several tribal areas.
On–the-ground understanding in southern Afghanistan has enabled FAF to assemble a team of expatriates and Afghan nationals capable of implementing a successful project in the challenging environment of the Kandahar Province. Having key personnel in-country and available international support in place, FAF is capable of starting this project promptly.
