This project purpose was to remove and dispose of debris from ditches and open areas, at specific sites designated by the Municipality and approved by RAMP UP-South, in the ten districts of Kandahar City, Afghanistan. The total amount of debris to be removed under this contract is 54,600 cubic meters of debris. Approximately 50 work teams were deployed across all 10 sub districts to begin removal of accumulated debris. The allocation of work teams to each of the 10 sub districts was based on the population size, need and geographic spread.
